Pilocystic Astrocytoma.

A 18 year-old female who comes to the hospital because of motobike accident with minor head injury. On CT scanner she has a low-density mass in the left hemisphere. A 46mm tumor, in which there is a small enhancing brain tissue about 90 HU and a large portion of mass is not absorbed contrast media about 17 HU. As you can see the cystic expansion is seen in the left temporal lobe that resulted in displacing the lateral ventricle moderately. She was diagnosed with Pilocystic astrocytoma. However fortunately, she has not any complication at present.
