Intracerebral hemorrhage in head injury.

He is 34 years of age, has had a motobile accident with head injury. He has been tested for 2 times of ct scanning at the diffirent point of time. the first test was at the midnight and the second was at 6:30 am. As you can see, there was slightly different result in the size of hemorrhagic mass. Note that acute hemorrhage appears hyperdense (white) on a CT scan. The purpose of a CT scan is to rule out certain stroke mimics and detect hemorrhage, not necessarily to rule in the diagnosis of ischemic stroke.
